There are so many worthy charities out there but; two that sticks out for me is  Heart kids children with heart problem's and the Black dog Institute men's mental health, These are both great charities and worthy causes.

  

So i would like to dedicate my walk to these two great charities.

Congenital heart disease is the most common congenital disorder in new-born's. The birth rate prevalence of congenital heart disease is understood to be approximately 8 – 10 cases per 1,000 live births.


In Australia, there are approximately 300,000 registered births per



year resulting in 2,400 – 3,000 babies born each year with a form of congenital heart disease. Cumulatively, taking into consideration new-born's through to adults living with congenital heart disease, this number could conceivably represent well over 66,000 Australians

 I have finally decided hiking sux . Yesterday was a trying day to say the least . It started off in Bath trying to work out where the actual walk started. After a couple of attempts following my OS maps I decided to ask some one. You would think that locals would have a bit of an idea well after about the seventh person I finally met a nice old gentleman who told me follow Landsdowne road to the end he did mention it was a bit hilly. Well I would like to nominate it for the longest hill in the UK it just went on and on steep also at one stage I thought I may need oxygen. When i finally found the start of the yellow brick road off I went . Through some boring field edges then it got a bit more interesting. Day 7

Now at a place called ST Agnes staying the night at an old pub I walked from Portreath . Not that far just around 15 kl feet and legs a bit sore so taking it easy. Met a really nice South African woman and told her I could not source walking poles any where so she gave me hers very kind of her. Seems to make walking a bit easier.  Just a run down of where I’ve been  Started at lands end to Pendeen stayed there camping behind a pub for the night.Then

 To be honest this is the toughest thing I have ever attempted. I am now at Boscastle I was lucky to get booked for two nights at a great YHA .  Tomorrow I set off to Bude my feet are feeling a bit better but I will try battle on. Boscastle is a interesting cute little village. It has a tideal harbour area where you can see the ocean tidal surge coming through to eventually fill the harbour. It looks spectacular with raging torrents and blow holes in the rocks. I went to the witchcraft museum to pass a bit of time and cut down on walking it was quite interesting  Amazing what they use to think a few years ago. But whoooo knows😊
